Merhaba Binnur Hanim,
I have just returned from Turkey for the second time. I love the food! It is so wonderful to see your recipes here.
There is a layered noodle dish using wide, delicate noodles with cheese in between the layers. I have not been able to find a recipe for it. Can you help?
Tesekkurler,
Nancy

Merhaba Nancy,
I'd love to help but your question is not clear enough, I need more information:) There are so many breakfast recipes like the other dishes in Turkish Cuisine.
Is it Borek with cheese filling or Su Boregi (Water Borek)? Please check the Pastries section for more recipes.

I have just returned from a fantastic week in Torba. A lady there was cooking thin pancakes on what looked like an upturned barbecue. She filled them with meat and vegetable fillings. They sounded like Guerrelemon although I am sure this is not the right spelling. Do you have a recipe for this please? Stephanie PS Your recipes are wonderful.

Regarding the "...thin pancakes on what looked like an upturned barbecue. She filled them with meat and vegetable fillings."
I cannot spell it, but phonetically I think it is GUZ-la-may. I was quite fond of it when I was in Turkey.

I am not sure where to post this but I had just come back from an amazing tour of Istanbul and I must say that I love the food (so much so that I even ate meat). One thing in particular that I really love is simit. Are there are any available easy-to-follow recipes for simit here? Thanks

Hi Frangelico,
I've already posted the Simit recipe under the Pastries section, here is the address;
http://english.turkishcookbook.com/2007/01/turkish-bagel-with-sesame-seeds.html

On the site, below the google ads on the right, there's a search box. So you can search on my site if "TC" is selected, it will help you to find any recipe that I have posted. You can also search the word of any vegetable or herb or meat or the region or spice etc.
