Nice and healthy but didn't list number of servings which makes nutrient analysis difficult.

Hello from Germany!

I am mad about turkish food and was really happy to find your blog. I own several books about turkish kitchen but most of the recipies need much effort. As far as I can consider it now, all your dishes are really perfect for daily life.
I have just tried the Piyaz and it was really great!

Best regards! Iyi aksamlar!

Merhaba Binnur! Love your recipes. I visited Turkey last year after seeing a Turkish man for some time. Am still loving the food (not so much the man!) and especially this dish in the summer. One thing, he used to tenderize the onions by rubbing them with salt. Do you find that a necessary step? It looked so complicated. Yours looks much easier.
Also - did you post a version adding tahin? Thanks again!!!

Kind regards,
Karyn in FL

Hi Karyn,
Thank you:) Yes, it is necessary if it is Onion Salad or onion served with Kebab:) Sliced the onion, sprinkle some salt and rub, that's it:)

It is called Antalya Style Kidney Bean Salad which I've already posted under the Salad section, here is the address:

Take care:)
