Hi,
I apologize that you do not like the recipe, but millions of people do as it is part of the Turkish cuisine. If this does not suit your tastes, I am sure that most of the recipes on this site won't either so I suggest going to another one. I am sure you would not enjoy anything you make to be called nasty, and I do not either. So in the future, please be more respectful with your words as it is disappointing seeing people criticize anyone's hard work like this.
This is my favorite!
How on earth can lemon juice and olive oil be considered nasty, unless you don't actually like lemon juice and olive oil (in which case, why would you make it?)
this is my favorite salad, my husband and I make this once a week at least. I wonder who would think the lemon and olive oil is nasty? What a classic, yummy dressing! Onu cok cok seviyorum!
This is my favorite salad dressing! Better than oil and vinegar. But it simply isn't to everyone's taste.
Lovely salad :)
WOW that was quite the comment above! COK AYIP!!! Binnur... I know of a carrot salad that also is made by soaking the carrots in oil and then made into a salad with yogurt I think... Do you know this recipe? Its lovely! But I cannot remember all the ingredients :)
Merhaba:)
I think what you ask for is;
Haydari with Carrots
(Havuclu Haydari) which I've already posted it under the appetizers section:) Here is the address;

I loved this salad while I was living there in Istanbul, Turkiye. Its so fresh tasting! Sometimes my mother in law put a bit of apple cider vinegar in it too. So yummy! :)
