Hi Binnur

I have not heard of Sumac, does it have another name please? I live in England so wonder if we know it by another name?

I love your recipes, thank you for sharing them.

Many thanks

Lynn

Hi Lynn,
Sumac comes from the berries of a wild bush which grows in the Mediterranean. The berries are dried and crushed to form purple-red powder. The flavour is sour and fruity. It's mostly used with Kebabs, preferred to lemon for sourness.
I think you can find Sumac in the Mediterranean stores under the same name:)
