Dear Binnur,
As Pecenek Turks, we call this dish Karakay. We add crushed garlic in the yogurt, and drizzle burnt butter before serving. We sometimes add hot paprika in the butter to spice it up. We like it so much that we have it almost every week. Your dish brought tears to my eyes because we use the same type of pasta shape. If the pasta is made fresh( who has time), the bowties are atleast two inches long. I hope you will try Karakay one day. Gulnay
Dear Gulnay,
We have so many dishes which are exactly the same, just the names are different:) We add garlic in yogurt and we love it...also sometimes we drizzle burned butter with red pepper on top.
Sevgilerimle.
Mmm... so simple, yet so tasty!
Dear Binnur,
My husband is Turkish, and I love Turkish cuisine, and I must say your recipes are just amazing for a new (cross-cultural) cook like me.
Thanks for the great posts.
