I tried this recipe; however, it tasted bitter. Is it supposed to taste bitter? If not, what do you think could have caused that?

Hi,
If you have omitted the part "Strain into the bowl pushing gently with the back of the spoon to remove all the liquid" , then it may be bitter. You need to crush the orange to remove all the juice inside.

Thanks for the reply. I retried by pressing onto the apples and oranges as you suggested; it did the trick. And what a delicious tea it was this time around.

Hi,
Clove (Spice) Description
Cloves are the immature unopened flower buds of a tropical tree. When fresh, they are pink, dried, they turn to a rust-brown colour. Measuring 12-16 mm (1/2”-5/8”) long, they resemble small nails, with a tapered stem. The large end of the clove is the four-pointed flower bud.

My family are just back from a holiday in Turkey & let me try some tea they bought, tasted great just like your receipe. I was just wondering how long can you keep it? Can it be kept in the fridge & then reheated?

Hi Stuart,
You can keep it in the fridge, then have a cold drink on hot Summer days:) would not recommend to reheat any brewed tea.

I'm going to Turkey during the hot season. The tea sounds delicious but wonder if it's a good idea to drink something that will increase urine.

Hi,
If you drink the whole batch it is like eating 2 apples:) But if you have some concerns about the apple tea, you need to consult your doctor.
