Can I use pomegranate molasses instead of the paste?

Hi,
Pomegranate molasses is sweet, pomegranate paste is sweet&sour. Try to add a few drops of lemon juice or vinegar into the pomegranate molasses to give the sourness the pomegranate paste has:)
