1/2 cup powdered sugar
3 egg yolks
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour

Merhaba Binnur,

I love reading your blog and I want to thank you for keeping it up.

Recently, my friend has got me some isot biber from Ufer. I can think of using them as garnish, or adding them when the food is being served.
Are they good for cooking? Can you please give me some ideas how to make good use of them?

I look forward to your reply soon.

Teşekkürler!

Martha

Hi Martha.
Isot biber (aka Urfa biber) is a dried Turkish pepper. It is a raisin like taste smoky red pepper. Isot biber is less spicy than the chilly peppers.
You can add the isot pepper into the dish like the other chilly peppers. We use it in meat, salads and savory dishes in Turkey.
